Former Executive Chairman of Ikeduru local government area and renowned Publisher, Chief Sam Akah has alleged plot by some chieftains of All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Charles Amadi and Rev Chidi Nwanebu to silence him for no just cause.

While Prince Amadi popularly known as “Charlvon” is a father to the APC House of Representative Candidate for Mbaike re-run election on Saturday, April 15, 2023, Prince Akarachi Amadi, Rev Chidi Nwanebu (CNN) is currently the Sole Administrator (SOLAD), Ikeduru LGA.

According to HORN Newspapers of Thursday, April 13th, 2023, Sam Akah disclosed made this threat known to Journalists in Owerri, he maintained that his efforts to ensure that Governor Uzodinma’s goodwill in Ikeduru LGA was not destroyed, the duo of Prince Amadi and Rev Nwanebu saw his genuine move as a huge threat to them.

According to Chief Akah, the Sole Administrator, Rev Nwanebu had sent him a text message that reads, “I have heard you loud and clear”, adding that all efforts to find out from him the meaning of the message was futile.

He recalled that few weeks ago, some strange looking men had trailed and pursued him with unmarked vehicle plate number, saying that it took God’s intervention to rescue him.

According to him, he had opposed Prince Amadi and the SOLAD, Nwanebu for sidelining him in the sharing of election logistics during the just concluded polls, saying that his resistance not to allow them to remove Ikeduru headquarters from Iho to Eziama, the country home of Prince Charlvon, as reflected in his son’s electioneering campaigns, immediately emergences winner in the re-run poll has generated serious tension in the area.

Chief Akah, who is the Traditional Prime Minister of Iho (TPM), said that due to the behaviors of Prince Charlvon and CNN Nwanebu in Ikeduru, no serious minded politician in the area want to identify with APC, regretting that Charlvon has succeeded in destroying all efforts put in place to  sustain government’s vision.

Chief Akah noted that alleged serious crime information against the duo of Charlvon and Nwanebu could be the reason why they were struggling to silence him from the face of the earth.

Akah expressed worry that the duo are ready  to execute the heinous act considering their past and present records of crime related issues in Ikeduru local government council, saying that he has directed Lawyer to petition relevant security agencies in the country in order to guarantee his safety.

Chief Akah alleged that Charlvon had boasted that the only thing keeping him at par with his political rivals was the re-run election of his son, Akarachi Amadi, and vowed to deal decisively with anyone in Ikeduru opposing his leadership of APC once his son is declared winner.

Revealing further, Chief Akah assured that soonest, detailed information indicting the duo over an alleged criminal activities against them may be in public domain.

It can be recalled that one of the candidates in the re-run election, had accused Prince Charlvon of plot to kill him with a view to stopping him from participating in the re-run election on Saturday.
